PRESIDENT'S NOTE

Hello and welcome to the September issue of WomensBusiness.Info. Response to our launch of the WBDC Purple Pages on line Directory has been great. Phase 2 of our marketing launch will occur this month—we will send links to WBENC national corporate sponsors.

We are pleased to announce that we have finalized the dates of our first Trade Fair and Marketplace, “Stellar Contacts”—October 7th and 8th at the Broward Convention Center. We will host a networking reception during the evening of October 7th and the Trade Fair and Marketplace will officially open at 9am on October 8th. Please click on the Trade Fair logo below for more information about registration, events during the Trade Fair and sponsorship opportunities. We will have dedicated pages about the Trade Fair and Marketplace at www.womensbusiness.info. We will be sending information on Matchmaker opportunities with corporate representatives to all Florida WBEs during the next few weeks. We have received a few responses to our Going Green survey. It’s not too late to send in your responses. Our intention is to promote and showcase Florida WBEs who have green initiatives as a follow up to a series of articles in the Miami Herald.
