Hello and welcome to the November issue of WomensBusiness.Info. Fall is in full swing and the WBDC/Florida Affiliate of WBENC has a few interesting events and programs for our members that we want to highlight in this newsletter:
- Purple Pages second launch
- Pour at Four, Books and More
- Bless our Success Holiday Gathering
The WBDC Purple Pages is an online directory that promotes WBEs. WBEs are invited to submit ads about their business. The ads have links to the company’s corporate website and meta tags are embedded for easy search and find capability. The directory is indexed by industry, by WBE and by region. Pour at Four, Books and More is a new networking event for WBEs. We have WBE Ambassadors who are actively engaging WBEs and introducing them to other WBEs through a variety of networking activities. Please join us for the first Pour at Four, Books and More which as the name implies, involves wine and books in the form of a book club. Click here for more information.
Bless our Success Holiday Gathering is being hosted by WBE Ambassadors and is open to all WBEs, Corporate Sponsors and friends of the WBDC. It’s a holiday party that will in part benefit Dress for Success. We are asking that guests consider donating accessories to Dress for Success for their participants who are getting ready for interviews and the job market. Click here for more information.
