 PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Hello and welcome to the December issue of WomensBusiness.Info. As we wind down 2006 and look forward to 2007 we would like to thank our many supporters and friends. We could not do the work we do without the support of our sponsors who are highlighted below. I was overwhelmed by the Nancy Allen Appreciation Dinner and surprise party which brought WBEs to Miami Beach for a wonderful dinner and networking event. I am especially thankful for the beautiful necklace and earrings set which were presented to me. Not only are they gorgeous, but it gives me a chance to talk about all of you whenever someone admires them!
We are launching a few new features in this newsletter: a page dedicated to WBEs in the news; and a section containing articles written by WBEs, and WBEs in the news.
I am traveling to China with the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce - Women's Global Network and UC Berkeley Center for Research on Chinese & American Strategic Cooperation. The program will run from December 7 - 18, 2006. I will be sending journal entries to the office which will be posted on our website. Click below for more information on the program and participants.
