 PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Hello and welcome to the August issue of WomensBusiness.Info.
We are please to announce that this month’s issue contains a link to our official launch of our online directory, the Purple Pages which feature the products and services of our Florida WBEs. It is indexed by service/industry; by company name; and by region. If you are not listed in the directory, it is not too late! Contact Ana Maria at anamaria@womensbusiness.info to sign up. As part of the official launch, the Purple Pages links will be sent to over 2,200 contacts in our database including WBEs; local, state and national corporate sponsors; local, state and national media outlets; and links will be provided in all of our marketing efforts.
We will have our first Expo and Trade Fair in the Fall. Be on the look out for save the date cards for an Expo in Fort Lauderdale in September and one in Tampa in October. We hope you will be able to attend both! Special features of the Expo and Trade Fair include round table lunch discussion groups; unique networking opportunities including pictures of WBEs with information about their needs and offerings (I need/I have boards); matchmaker meetings; and a marketplace.
