Conference Highlights >> Silent Auction
The Women's Business Enterprise National Council is pleased to announce the Women in Business 2006 Silent Auction, sponsored by Avail Workforce Management Solutions and Metro-Home NYC LLC. This will be the biggest and best Silent Auction ever - which is saying quite a bit. The highly-anticipated Silent Auction is being led this year by President of Metro-Home NYC LLC Linda Coughlin and CEO of Avail Workforce Management Solutions Katherine Henson.
Details on the 2006 Silent Auction and how your company can participate will be posted in the coming weeks. Come back to this page for more information.
Some Rules and Regulations
Only conference attendees may bid on auction items, and we encourage you to pre-register (registration will be announced) as a bidder for the Silent Auction. This will save valuable time at the event, and keep you from waiting in line. It also is a huge help with our logistics. Major credit cards only. No cash, please.
Each auction item will be displayed (when practical) with a description and a bid sheet. Estimated values for items will be posted and help determine starting bid and bid increments.
Since this is a silent auction, registered "bidders" are free to enter and increase silent bids on the bid sheets up until the end of the auction.
"Winning" bids and bidders will be posted the following morning, and remain available throughout the event.
"Won" items are to be claimed at the Silent Auction booth (booth numbers will be announced in April) during the Business Fair on Wednesday, June 28th. Some auction items can be carried home, but others will require specific shipping arrangements.
A complete list of rules and procedures for the Silent Auction will be available at the event.
