 PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Hello and welcome to the April edition of WomensBusiness.Info. The second quarter of 2007 is upon us and it’s a good time to review first quarter goals.
WBDC now has two publications which we are very proud to promote: The WBDC Annual Report and Who’s Who Among Florida WBEs. Both are highlighted in articles below. Special thanks go to corporate sponsor Memorial Healthcare System who generously donated the printing of both publications. Our thanks as well to Office Depot for printing the color cover of the Who’s Who Book. Every Florida WBE will receive a copy of the Who’s Who publication. Contact us if you do not receive your copy by 15 April. We are happy to report that 125 WBEs submitted their profiles, pictures and logos for this impressive publication. We are using the book for marketing to new corporate sponsors and to potential WBEs.
Don’t forget to take a look at the new WBEs joining our ranks as well as those re-certifying. You may find some valuable information for strategic alliances and suppliers. The calendar contains information on events for April which includes two Corporate Close Up meetings and two Live Meetings.
Last but not least, start thinking about WIB 2007 in California—sponsorships are available and information about the matchmaker sessions should be available shortly at www.wbenc.org.
