 PRESIDENT'S NOTE
Hello and welcome to the July issue of WomensBusiness.Info.
The WBENC Women in Business Conference was a wonderful success! Florida was well represented with over 50 WBEs in attendance and 7 WBEs exhibiting. Over the course of the next couple of months we will publish WBE testimonials about the conference and matchmaker meetings. An estimated 2500 people were at the conference. Next year’s conference will be in San Francisco from June 9th through 12th.
Please note that we have 3 important events scheduled over the next few months:
1. WBDC’s Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the Florida Minority Supplier Development Council’s annual conference in Orlando. The WBDC Annual Meeting will take place on Wednesday, 13 August. Please click on the link below to hear an informative interview with the FMSDC President, Malik Ali. 2. Go for the Green Conference, also in Orlando in conjunction with Disney World, NAWBO and UPS on 19-29 September. 3. The WBDC Conference and Business Expo on the 25th and 26th of September hosted by Office Depot at their corporate headquarters in Delray Beach.
