	GETTING THE MOST OF YOUR WBENC CERTIFICATION______ Back To Main Page 2007 Corporate Close-Ups by Ana Maria Manresa Both Office Depot and North Broward Hospital District have organized valuable Corporate Close-up sessions for our WBEs. Coporate Close-Up meetings are designed to provide important information to our WBEs on the specific processes and procedures for becoming registered vendors. This information is key to any WBE interested in participating in their corporate diversity programs. The Office Depot Corporate Close-Up was a big success. We had 20 WBEs in attendance and over a dozen procurement executives from Office Depot. The session provided key information for doing business with Office Depot and allowed WBEs to address individual scenarios. Office Depot's procurement officers met one-on-one with the WBEs present - turning the session into a matchmaker opportunity that was appreciated by all. Read Testimonials The North Broward Hospital District Corporate Close-Up was another success for our WBEs. All the Procurement Directors for the hospital were in attendance which provided a for a thorough understanding of their registration process. WBDC had a special session for women-owned businesses including our WBEs as part of the event agenda. The meeting gave us an opportunity for marketing to new and potential WBEs.
